US police have arrested an Indian-origin youth who was driving a Tesla car in the back seat.
A 25-year-old man of Indian descent drove a Tesla car in California. That expensive car has sensor and autopilot facilities. Using this feature you can drive the Tesla car while sitting in the back seat. However, the US Police has banned it. It is advised to always have the driver in the driver’s seat as it can lead to major accident and casualties.
Violators of these rules have already been warned that stern action will be taken. However, Sharma has made it a routine to drive a Tesla car while sitting in the back seat. Road users took a photo and video of it and sent it to the US Traffic Police. In this regard, the police, who registered the complaint, asked to share more information about the car.
Sharma also shared a video of his car stunt drive on his social media pages. Based on this, the US Traffic Police arrested Sharma and confiscated his car. He has been prosecuted under various sections. The main charges against him are continuing to break the rules of the road and threatening other motorists.
Sharma has already been arrested by the police for driving the same model Tesla car in the back seat. He was later released and bought another Tesla car a week later and was again involved in a traffic offense. When journalists asked him about this, he said that he was a rich man and that he would be like this.
Sharma said that his lifestyle was different and explained that it was not my fault that others did not understand it. He said he will buy again as he has the facility to buy another Tesla car immediately. Sharma’s response has caused controversy in the United States. He has been widely criticized for being a money-maker.
